George DiChiara has been the Varsity Head Coach at Edgemont since 1989. He took a two-year hiatus during the 2001 and 2002 seasons before returning to coach with former Edgemont wrestler Pete Jacobson '96 for the 2003 season. Ety Rybak '96 and Rob Kim '99, to other former Edgemont wrestlers, began coaching with the program in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Edgemont's best team finish was in the 1992 season when they captured their last League Championship to date and finished fourth in a combined Section 1 Championship, Edgemont's highest finish ever. The team was led by Anthony Demaio '92, Ron Tabaddor '92, Chaz Stephenson '92 and Ziad Jabri '92. DeMaio finished his senior campaign as Edgemont's only Section Champion ever at 112 pounds and went on to place fourth at the New York State Championships. Edgemont's Modified Wrestling Team has been in existence since 1990. The team is coached by Robert Breitenbach who has been at the helm of the team since its inception. Edgemont's Youth Team was started in the 2005 season, kicking off its innaugral year with 40 participants. The program is coached by Varsity coaches George DiChiara, Pete Jacobson, Ety Rybak and Rob Kim.
